Return & Refund Policy

A clear window, no restocking fee, and broken mugs replaced without mailing anything back.

1. Broken, misprinted, or wrong mug — the fast lane

The mug arrived chipped? That’s on us, full stop. The same goes for a cracked handle, a print defect, the wrong design, or the wrong size showing up in the box.

Here’s the drill: email ⟨EMAIL — SET BEFORE GO-LIVE⟩ within 3 business days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the mug and its box. That’s the entire process. A replacement goes into production at no charge, and you keep or recycle the damaged mug — shipping broken ceramic back across the country helps nobody, so we don’t ask for it. Prefer a refund over a replacement? Say so in the email and we’ll do that instead.

2. Changed your mind — the regular lane

Maybe the 15oz turned out bigger than the shelf allows, or the gift plan changed. You have 30 days from the day the parcel is delivered to start a return. Two conditions on the mug itself:

Condition What it means
Unused Never sipped from, never washed, never through a heat cycle
Original packaging The box and padding it arrived in, reasonably intact

For change-of-mind returns, the return postage is yours to cover, and the original shipping fee isn’t refunded. What you will not find here is a restocking fee — we don’t charge one.

3. How to start a return

Email ⟨EMAIL — SET BEFORE GO-LIVE⟩ with your order number and a line about why the mug is coming back. We reply within 2 business days with the return address and instructions. Please wait for that reply before mailing anything; parcels sent without a heads-up are hard to match to orders. We suggest a tracked service for the return leg, since the mug is your responsibility until it reaches us.

4. Refunds — when and where the money lands

Once the returned mug arrives and passes a quick inspection, the refund goes out within 3-5 business days to your original payment method through PayPal. How fast it then appears on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer — that last hop is theirs, not ours.

5. What we can’t take back

A few honest exclusions: mugs that have been used or washed, returns started after the 30-day window closes, damage reported after the 3-business-day reporting period, and mugs damaged by things covered in our Care Instructions — a thermal-shock crack from boiling water into a frozen mug is physics, not a product defect. If you’re unsure which side of the line your case sits on, ask first. We’d rather look at a photo than argue a policy.

Not sure your situation fits a category?

Describe it to ⟨EMAIL — SET BEFORE GO-LIVE⟩ with your order number and photos if you have them — edge cases get human judgment, not a form rejection.
